El Salvador is a Central American country that lies on the border of the Pacific Ocean between Guatemala and Honduras. El Salvador is under a process of rapid industrialization and is known for its beaches and nightlife.
Jobs in El Salvador are heavily based in the tourism industry since the Government is focusing its efforts on developing this sector as a potential source of employment. El Salvador was a mono-export economy for many years. During the colonial rule, indigo was the main item of export but later on, coffee became the export item used to earn revenue. Textiles and sea farming are the other two major industries of the country, which still need to be developed.
