Grenada is an island nation in the southeastern Caribbean Sea and the second-smallest independent country in the western hemisphere. Grenada is known as the Spice Isle of the world since it produces a variety of spices.
Jobs in Grenada are mostly available in the tourism sector, which is also the economic backbone of the country. Beach and water sports along with eco tourism have contributed to the development of this sector. Cinnamon, cloves, ginger, mace, allspice, orange/citrus peels, wild coffee and nutmeg account for 20% of the world's spice supply.
