Jet Airways was established on 3rd May 1991 and commenced its operations on May 5, 1993. Jet Airways operates 365 flights daily to 44 destinations in India and currently controls about 40% of India's aviation market. It has a fleet size of 76 planes. The company acquired Air Sahara in 2007 and now operates under the name of JetLite.
