Bajaj Auto Ltd, TVS, LML, Hero Honda, etc are the leading motorcycle manufacturers in Indian automobile sector. During financial year 2005-06, sales of motorcycles showed a growth of 17.13% with an increase of 39.36% in exports by Indian motorcycle manufacturers.
For the same period, cumulative sales of motorcycles amounted to 5.8 millions with 386.2 thousand units exported by Indian manufacturers.
