Chetak, Bajaj Bravo, Bajaj Classic, LML, etc. The manufacturers are in the process of launching new models.
Bajaj and TVS are leaders in the scooter segment.
Production
During financial year 2005-06, scooter production showed a growth of 3.29% over the preceding year. At present there are more than 1.02 million scooters manufactured in Indian automobile sector.
