2005-06, sales of scooters declined by 1.55% in Indian market, though there was an increase of 38.18% in exports by Indian scooter manufacturers.
For the same period, cumulative scooter sales amounted to 9.08 lakhs with 83.8 thousand units exported by Indian manufacturers.
