Tata Motors, Maruti Udyog Limited, Toyota, Mahindra & Mahindra, Swaraj Mazda, etc are leaders in Indian Utility Vehicle (UV) segment. Some of the domestic as well as global players are in the process of delivering compact UVs in Indian markets.
During financial year 2005-06, sales of UV in Indian market showed a growth of 10.33% with decrease of 0.42% in exports by Indian UV manufacturers.
