Recruitment and Training

The company is open for engineers and management professionals. It undertakes campus recruitments on a regular basis. They are recruited as trainees and are put on rigorous training for one year. They are provided with live projects to work upon.

For the development purpose, Ashok Leyland has a tie up with BITS Pilani to provide MS-Engineering (2 year course) and a few Diploma courses to its employees. Also, the company has collaboration with TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal to offer marketing training and other management courses to its employees. It also facilitates executive training programmes for its employees. Besides, it has its own development centre with all provisions.

Also, there is a provision for Sabbatical program for researchers and other people who are interested in knowing the Indian commercial vehicle industry in-depth.
