Founded in 1945, M&M's automotive division is into the manufacturing of utility vehicles and commercial vehicles. M&M's automotive division, which first undertook importing and assembling of Willys Jeep kits, now has its own four manufacturing plants. Mahindra group is significantly contributing to economy of India through its trade and financial sectors.
Mahindra Group's product range varies from commercial vehicles to luxury cars Bolero and Scorpio. It also caters to the Indian Army. M&M's vehicles are being exported to Africa, Asia and European & Latin American countries. During financial year 2005-06, M&M group witnessed a revenue growth of more than 27.0%, as compared to the last financial year.
