According to the new study report by Ernst & Young, Indian Biotech industry is growing but it badly needs funds, especially during
early stages of new drug development process, for the sustainable industry development. It should start filing more original patents in novel drugs too.
The report also points to the possibility of India following the Japanese path and moving up the value chain of new drug development.
