Nirma is named after Dr. Karsanbhai Patel's daughter called Nirupma (Nima). It manufactures detergents and toiletries. The Group operates in two segments:

The Soaps and Surfuctants comprise detergents, toilet soaps and its ingredients. The Other businesses comprise single vacuum salt, iodized salt, super phosphate, liquid blue, toothpaste, and incense sticks.
