Nestlé' is a household name in India, since 1912, when it embarked upon trading as the Nestlé Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company (Export) Limited, to import and sell finished products in
India. It was originally founded in Vevey, Switzerland in 1867.
However, Nestlé India attained its present day position after India's independence, with the establishment of its first factory at Moga, Punjab in 1961. Nestlé helped India, to develop its milk economy in Punjab, through modernized dairy farming practices and effortless financial assistance. Its second factory was established in Choladi, Tamil Nadu in 1967.
Nestlé is a highly acknowledged brand in India. It enjoys a strong bond of trust and belief with the people of India. It has contributed much to the growth of India's economy ever since its advent in India and strived hard to cater to the changing needs and preferences of consumers
