Its product portfolio includes anti-tuberculosis, cephalosporins, anti-asthma, cardiovascular, and non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs. Lupin has 9 USFDA- approved manufacturing facilities. The Lupin research park (India) has about 160 scientists. Currently, the company is setting up a project for the manufacturing of 93 Tissue Plasminogen Activators (TPA) of Rifampicin, which is an essential anti-tuberculosis, anti-leprotic, life saving drug from a very basic stage of fermentation.

The Lupin Human Welfare and Research Foundation (LHWRF), which is committed to rural reconstruction, reaches out to over 1919 villages in eleven districts of four states covering nearly 1.45 million people in India.

Lupin has chosen quality, capacity and cost leadership as the basis of its Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients (APIs) business. Apart from APIs, Lupin also manufactures and markets API advance penultimates.
