Thus, employees for clerical work and office jobs are provided by every government department, such as and not limited to Railways, Banks, Trading organizations, Schools, Hospitals, etc. Administrative managers can also find employment scopes in organizations such as Central government, State governments, Local governments, health care, Manufacturing industry, financial services, professional and technical services, administrative support services, wholesale and retail trade, education and in management of companies and enterprises.
The Industrial Training Institutes (ITI), polytechnique colleges, commercial and state secretarial institutes offer training programs to those who are interested in an administrative career. On completion of the courses, one can work as an office assistant, computer operator and accounts clerk or as a technical staff in workshops.
Also, one can also try for the glamorous white collar jobs in the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) and Indian Civil Services (ICS).
