Jharkhand, the 28th state of Indian Union came in to existence as a geo-political and unit on 15th November 2006 reconstituting 18 districts of the southern part of Bihar. Jharkhand is known for its rich human talent contributed to the industrial strength of the region, gave ground to the formation of many industrial cities, which serve as India’s industrial backbone. Many of the Jharkhand cities such as Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Bokaro and Dhanbad are famous for its heavy industrial and engineering plants. Sindri has the largest fertilizer plant in India, Jamshedpur is at No.1 place with the first iron & steel plant, Bokaro has Asia's largest steel plant, Gomia has the biggest explosives factory in India, and so on.
