Gammon, the contractor of Chennai Metro Rail have not paid the accumulated salary dues. Mainly the salary of deputy managers and assistant managers for the month of February and March has not been paid. The salary for the month of January was credited in the first week of April. According to the officials of gammon, the delay in the salary disbursement occurred due to some internal accounting issue. They are assuring that the problem will be resolved immediately.
