How to join Indian Army with NCC ‘C’ certificate and what is the salary?

If you hold the NCC ‘C’ certificate and want to join Indian Army then you can do so. Candidate needs to be very bright, intellectual and must have courage to serve the country. Male candidate can be married or unmarried and the female candidate can be unmarried or a widow of defence candidates. Age of the candidate should not be less than 19 years and more than 25 years.

 

Apart from this, candidate must have a degree from a recognized University or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

 

Candidate must have served the NCC for minimum of two academic years in senior division.

 

Candidate must have the ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC. Holding the certificate at the time of application is not required.

 

Selection Procedure: Send the application in the prescribed format to Rtg. Directorate (NCC) through HQ DG NCC.

 

This will be forward to State Directorates who in turn will forward the same to Hq DG NCC.

 

Candidates are shortlisted. The shortlisted candidates have to go through the two stage testing procedure to join the Indian Army as Lt.

 

Salary: Stipend during the period of training is Rs.21000/-

 

Once the candidate complete the training, he or she will be commissioned as Lt in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 wth Grade Pay 5400 and MSP Rs.6000/- and other allowances.

What is the salary and how to become an Assistant Commandant at the Indian Coast Guard?

Assistant Commandant is a Group ‘A’ Gazatter Officer at The Indian Coast Guard and has the pay scale of Rs 15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs 5400.

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Unmarried Indian citizen

  • For general duty candidate should have the Bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from the Central/State Govt/UGC recognized university.

  • For general duty Pilot, Navigator or Observer, candidate should have B.Sc. with Maths and Physics with 60% aggregate marks and 60% marks in Physics and Maths in 12th standard

  • For technical branch (Mechanical, Aeronautical or Electrical) candidate should have degree in Naval architecture, Mechanical/Marine Design/Production/Aeronautical/Automotive/Industrial and Production/ Aeronautical/Instrumentation and Control/Electrical/Electronics and Telecommunication that is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

  • Candidates who have been withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any of the service training academy are not eligible.

  • Candidate should not have been arrested, prosecuted on criminal charges or convicted.

  • Candidates who have appeared for the final year/semester exam and awaiting for the final year result can also apply. But they should not have any back log.

  • In GD branch candidates who hold five years of LLB integrated degree after passing 10+2 with Maths and Physics or three years LLB degree with Maths and Physics in 10+2 can also apply.

 

Selection of the Candidates for Assistant Commandant at the Indian Coast Guard

Selection is done through entrance exam. You can apply for the test on their website www.joincostguard.org. Fill the complete online application form and submit to get the registration number. If the candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria then a Rejection Slip is generated stating the reason for the rejection. If selected then print the two copies of the application. Take the duly signed application form with photographs and all the original documents to the examination center.

 

Preliminary Selection

Candidates who have been selected in online application will have to face the preliminary round of Mental Ability Test and PP&DT (Picture and Perception and Discussion Test)

 

Final Selection:

Once the candidate is through with the preliminary selection then he has to go through the final selection round. Date and venue for the Final Selection Board is uploaded on the website www.indiancoastguard.nic.in. The Final Selection round consists of Psychological test, Group testing and Interview (Personality test)

 

Medical:

All the candidates who clear the Final Selection round have to appear for the medical examination at nearest Military Hospital.

Rashtriya Mahila Kosh, is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Women and Child Development.
