A Brief Look of IAS Officers Salary Per Month
A rough estimation of the total salary earned by an IAS officer has been made, keeping all the components of his salary in view:
- Basic Pay- INR 23,640
- HRA (at 30 percent)- INR 7,092
- D.A (at 65 percent) – INR 15,366
- T.A- INR 5280
Therefore, the total average salary stands at INR 51,378. It however, remains changeable with time. Considering the fact that his basic pay is likely to go up by 3 percent per year and DA by 10 to 14 percent, an officer can expect to earn double after every 7 to 9 years in service.
