The term ‘MBA preferred’ has been quoted in an increasing number of job listings over the last five years. According to a survey conducted among employers and business schools in India, the qualities of being able to solve complex problems and think logically in critical situations, encourage them to recruit MBA graduates.
The survey has also shown that there is a 70 percent jump in the salary structure and signing bonuses of companies visiting business schools to offer jobs to MBA students in the year 2012.
The list includes the names of companies in India where MBA students said they would like to work after the end of studies.
The survey was conducted by CNNMoney, a unit of CNN, Fortune and Money.

The demand for an MBA fresher and professional is chiefly in the financial services sector, the consumer goods companies and the consulting firms. In fact, more than 50 percent business schools in India play host to recruiters from companies who also have branches abroad. This is proof of the fact that jobs for MBA graduates and their salary structure have shot up not only in India but in other countries across the world as well.
