Glenmark Pharmaceuticals is a part of Glenmark Generics Ltd. (GGL) US. It is present in the Indian cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Nasik, Ankleshwar and Chandigarh. It is involved in the drug discovery related to ailments such as rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, COPD, inflammation, etc. It also conducts pharmaceutical research in the areas of metabolic disorders such as obesity and diabetes. It also manufactures drugs for inflammatory pain and neuropathic pain. Some seven drugs are being developed that are into preclinical and clinical development stages. Several of such drugs are in clinical trials phase. Some of these drugs are aimed for advanced treatments of chronic and debilitating diseases. The budget of the project may go up to $3 billion.

It has a state-of-the-art research center in Navi Mumbai, India. It has advanced facilities for drug development and discovery of new chemical entities. The biopharmaceutical research is conducted in its research and development facility in Switzerland. It focuses on developing monoclonal antibodies. Apart from it, it has its R&D facilities in the UK and the US.

A. Entry level salaries
