Commonly known as the "Garden State", New Jersey (US) has a prosperous Agricultural Industry producing Vegetables, Fruits and Nuts, Seafood, Nursery Stock and Dairy Products. The crops produced on a large scale include Cranberries, Peach, Eggplants and Tomatoes. The local bodies, which maintain these agricultural resources, are the New Jersey Department of Agriculture and Rutgers Co-operative Research and Extension.
The Industrial sectors have a strong base and they produce valuable outputs of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Products, Food products, Electrical Equipments, Printing and Publishing articles. The main economical produce of this state is Heavy Industry and Chemicals.
